Gardening Through The Seasons
Our gardening centered nature school for 3-9yr olds will be meeting every Friday during the school year at Raphael Springs school. This Waldorf inspired nature school uses gardening through the seasons as a way to allow the students to develop a deeper appreciation for and awareness of the human being’s relationship to the natural world. By caring for the garden, experiencing the growth of plants, and harvesting what they give us, the students develop a deeper consciousness and appreciation for the earth and learn life long skills.
We will explore activities like growing and caring for plants, herbalism, nature stories, arts, wild-crafting, harvesting and preparing snacks, nature based games and unstructured time to play in nature. The class will follow the same rhythm each week with varying themes and activities as the season and garden change.

Half Day | 3 – 6 yrs old
9am – 12:30pm // Tuition $1400.00
Payment Plan
$200 Deposit & $200 due by the 15th of the month for 6 months
Full Day | 5 – 9 yrs old
9am – 3:00pm // Tuition $2070.00

$230 Deposit & $230 due by the 15th of the month for 8 months
Get to Know Ashley
The Childrens Garden and Outdoor Classroom was originally created 8 years ago as a nature school for homeschooling children in Waco, TX. Ashley is homeschooling mother and passionate about sharing holistic and nature centered classes with others. Ashley now lives and leads classes in Wimberley, on her families’ ranch and homestead. They raise chickens, dairy goats and bees regeneratively . Ashley is certified in Permaculture Design , and has completed the Master Gardener Program. Her large food forest garden is a wonderful example of a living ecosystem and outdoor classroom.
Class Details
What to bring:
Students must wear closed to shoes. Please bring a refillable water bottle, a healthy sack lunch and snacks, and backpack to carry everything in. Students should dress for the weather hats, layers, sun protection, ect. Toys should be left at home. Students are encouraged to bring a nature show and tell.

Weather:
We are an all seasons outdoor class. Dressing for the weather is important. We try to avoid canceling classes, but will call a class if the weather is severe. In case of a weather emergency mid-session, class will be moved indoors for safety. If it’s raining, please have a rain jacket and boots available if desired.
